TEELIXIR SCHIZANDRA BERRY (10:1 EXTRACT)

Known as the "Five Flavour Berry" in Chinese tradition, Schizandra — botanically Schisandra chinensis — is one of the most unique herbs in the entire Chinese pharmacopoeia. It is the only known berry that contains all five flavours recognised in Traditional Chinese Medicine: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and pungent. This remarkable quality led ancient practitioners to believe Schizandra could harmonise all five organ systems.

Teelixir sources its Schizandra from Di Tao origin regions in northeastern China, where this climbing vine has been harvested from wild and cultivated stands for over 2,000 years. Our extract is made from 100% dried berries, which contain the highest concentration of Schizandra's characteristic compounds — including schisandrins (lignans), organic acids, and essential oils.

THE HERITAGE

Schizandra (Schisandra chinensis) has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years.
