TEELIXIR PINE POLLEN POWDER (CRACKED CELL WALL)
Pine Pollen — harvested from Pinus massoniana (Masson Pine) — is the male pollen of the pine tree, gathered in spring when the trees release it. It has been used as a tonic food in Traditional Chinese and Taoist practice for centuries and is recorded in the Shennong Ben Cao Jing, one of the foundational texts of Chinese herbalism.
Teelixir's Pine Pollen is cracked cell wall. Each grain of pollen has a tough outer shell; cracking it opens the grain so its contents are more readily released during digestion. Uncracked pollen largely passes through intact.
Pine pollen naturally contains amino acids, B-group vitamins, minerals and a range of plant compounds. Natural composition varies with species, season and growing region, so we don't publish fixed nutrient figures for it. Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for heavy metals and microbiology.
